HERE MI SONG-INSPIRED BEER TO DEBUT SUNDAY AT ELLIS PARK

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Thursday, July 17, 2025) – In celebration of local fan-favorite Here Mi Song and his attempt at a third straight victory in the $150,000 Jeff Hall Memorial Stakes, Ellis Park Racing & Gaming is teaming up with Brew Bridge to release a special, limited-edition beer Sunday on the track’s apron.

Crafted by Brewmaster Will Gomez at Owensboro’s Brew Bridge, the 16-ounce commemorative can features the likeness of Here Mi Song and contains a crisp light lager with 3.9% alcohol by volume.

The beer will be available starting at 11 a.m. CT Sunday at Ellis Park, just in time for Jeff Hall Memorial Stakes Day. A portion of the proceeds from the beer will go to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF). Quantities are limited and each guest may purchase one can, while supplies last.

“We’re grateful to Ellis Park and Brew Bridge for supporting the PDJF through this creative promotion,” saidJoe Clabes, executive director of the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. “Initiatives like this go a long way in helping us support permanently disabled riders.”

Owned and bred by Nathan Hayden and trained locally by Billy Stinson Jr., Here Mi Song has earned more than $1 million in his 31-race career. Overall, the 7-year-old gelding has won seven races, three of which were at Ellis Park.

This weekend’s racing at Ellis Park will run Saturday through Monday, with daily first posts of 11:50 a.m.
