Fasig-Tipton To Host Gulfstream Sale During Florida Derby Week in ’18

Fasig-Tipton, one of the top sales agencies in the world of Thoroughbred breeding and racing, has announced that it will host the 2018 Gulfstream Selected Two-Year-Old in Training Sale on Wednesday, March 28 in advance of the Grade 1 Florida Derby — which is scheduled for Saturday, March 31.

The “under tack” show will be conducted at the track on Monday, March 26, so that all visitors may be able to view the sales participants on the track surface prior to the sale’s event.

“Moving our 2018 Gulfstream Sale three weeks later allows us to be a part of the excitement of Florida Derby week,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning, in a press release issued by the sales company. “Positioning the sale around the Florida Derby should bring the auction added exposure, and the timing should work well for both buyers and sellers.”
