TURFWAY PARK MOVES WEDNESDAY CARD

TO SUNDAY DUE TO EXTREME COLD TEMPERATURES

FLORENCE, Ky. (Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025) – Turfway Park has moved its Wednesday racing card to Sunday with a 12:30 p.m. ET first post due to extreme cold temperatures. The National Weather Service forecast calls for wind chill factors in the single digits throughout the day Wednesday, hovering around 10 degrees at night.

The program will not be redrawn and will run in its entirety on Sunday. Racing is scheduled to resume Thursday with a first post of 5:55 p.m., when temperatures are expected to reach around 30 degrees, with wind chill factors in the mid-20s.
