2017 Kentucky Oaks Post Position Draw

Churchill Downs drew post positions for the Kentucky Oaks on Tuesday morning. Paradise Woods, the early morning line favorite at 5-2, drew the No. 4 spot in the field. Miss Sky Walker, who currently sits at 9-2, drew the No. 10 spot. Other contenders such as Farrell, Abel Tasman and Salty drew the No. 7, 13 and 14 spots respectively.

“His rear end slipped out from underneath him in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile,” she said, “and he was compromised on early position when he ran in the Mucho Macho Man and got bottled up inside. He’s a young horse who is improving, mind-wise and everything-wise.”
