Editor’s Note:

I’m not a professional photographer. We had one of those on site Saturday for the first “Brims & Bridles” Fashion Show at The Louisville Thoroughbred Society. And, when those photos come back? You will get to see all the glamour. All the excitement. All the thrills. All the frills.

It was a magnificent event.

And, you will soon get to see what you may have missed.

But, most of all, you missed a glorious time.

Thanks be to LTS Member Julie Hinson, who went way beyond the call of duty; her friend and model coordinator extraordinaire Christine Fellingham; the fantastic ladies at Glasscock; our special Emcee Rachel McLaughlin; all our vendors; all our volunteers; and, especially, the crack team at Crushed Ice Catering for putting on a world-class show and showcase.

I had never been to a Fashion Show before Saturday.

I’ll never miss another one at the LTS, if the Good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise.

It was that much fun. Truthfully.

The models were real pros. The crowd was real into the moments. And, it was fun to see the historic place alive with the sound of music. Truly.

Here’s a few looks before the event started on Saturday. These are just a few samples and soup-starters to whet your appetite.

But do yourself a favor. Don’t miss the next one of these.

They are fun.
