Editor’s Note:

It has been awhile since our great friend, Holly M. Smith, journeyed out to catch a few of our most favorite Thoroughbred friends in action. The end of the Churchill Downs’ meet in late November. The Holidays. The New Year’s. All took time.

But on Sunday, Holly was back with her cameras. And, we had action.

On Sunday, Holly journeyed up to Lexington and caught a glimpse of he Stallion Show at Crestwood Farm. Didn’t hurt that The Player — one of our most favorite horses of all time — just so happens to reside there now.

Next Saturday, Holly heads to New Orleans for the G3 Lecomte Stakes and a card full of major events at the Fair Grounds.

Tune up those photo opps. It’s camera time again.

Thank goodness.
