TROUBLE CALLING TESTS TURF STAKES COMPANY

FOR FIRST TIME ON $175,000 DADE PARK DASH

HENDERSON, Ky. (Sunday, June 28, 2026) – Donamire Farm’s stakes winner Trouble Calling will test stakes company on the grass for the first time as he faces a field of seven sprinters entered in Saturday’s sixth running of the $175,000 Dade Park Dash at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming.

The Dade Park Dash, contested at 5 ½ furlongs on turf, goes as the afternoon’s eighth race with a post time of 3:12 p.m. CT. First post is 11:50 a.m.

Trained by Greg Foley, Trouble Calling cruised to a three-length allowance victory three weeks ago at Churchill Downs. Prior to that race, the son of Dialed In competed on dirt where he narrowly defeated Oscar’s Hope in the April 3 Lafayette Stakes (Listed) at Keeneland. Trouble Calling will be ridden by Ben Curtis out of post No. 5.

Also entered in the Dade Park Dash is CJ Stables’ Palisades Stakes (Listed) winner Reb Five; Aaron Haberman, Victoria Haberman and First Rodeo Racing’s Bachelor Stakes winner Two Seven O and Adam Rice’s Tom Ridge Stakes winner Squad Goals.

BEACH HEIST SEEKS FIRST STAKES SCORE IN SUNDAY’S $175,000 PEA PATCH – Redeemer Racing’s 3-year-old filly Beach Heist will be in search of her first stakes victory when she faces an uber-competitive cast of eight entered in next Sunday’s sixth running of the $175,000 Pea Patch Stakes at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming.

Run at 5 ½ furlongs on turf, the Pea Patch Stakes goes as Race 8 of nine with a post time of 3:12 p.m. CT. First post is 11:50 a.m.

Beach Heist, trained by Will Walden, finished second as a 2-year-old in the Stewart Manor Stakes at Aqueduct. A daughter of Omaha Beach, Beach Heist won on debut by 2 ¾ lengths at Keeneland and most recently finished second in a first-level allowance at Churchill Downs. Jockey Axel Concepcion has the call from the rail.

The Pea Patch field also includes Three Diamonds Farms’ stakes winner Victory Music; TEC Racing’s stakes winner and recent $125,000 claim Woodstock; and G. Watts Humphrey Jr.’s last-out allowance winner Just a Minute.
