Half-brothers to G1 winners Higher Power, Cambier Parc cataloged for September Sale

Keeneland sales graduates ran 1-2 in the three Grade 1 stakes held Saturday – the $1 million TVG Pacific Classic (Higher Power and Draft Pick), Alabama (Dunbar Road and Point of Honor) and Del Mar Oaks Presented by The Jockey Club (Cambier Parc and Hidden Message).

Half-brothers to Higher Power and Cambier Parc are consigned to Keeneland’s 2019 September Yearling Sale, to be held Sept. 9-22. Elm Tree Farm, agent, will offer a colt by Curlin (Hip 1484), who is a half-brother to Higher Power. Gainesway, agent, has consigned a colt by Into Mischief who is a half-brother to Cambier Parc as Hip 71.

With her Del Mar Oaks win, Cambier Parc enters the 2017 September Yearling Sale Book 1 Bonus pool. The Book 1 Bonus offers cash rewards to the seller (owner at the time of sale) and owner at the time of the race of Grade or Group 1 stakes winners sold as yearlings in Book 1 of the 2017 September Sale. Bonne Chance Farm was the filly’s owner when she sold at the September Sale to OXO Equine.

Cambier Parc becomes the fourth Grade 1 winner out of the 2017 September Sale Book 1, joining Fog of War, War of Will and Omaha Beach.

Dunbar Road earned a $2,500 September Sale Seller Bonus for Jeff Drown, her owner at the time of sale, for her win in the Alabama (G1). Dunbar Road previously won a $7,500 Seller Bonus for her victory in the Mother Goose (G2) toward the maximum $10,000 Seller Bonus.

Two other graded stakes winners are represented by siblings cataloged to the upcoming September Sale. Lane’s End, agent, has consigned a colt by Air Force Blue (Hip 3350) who is a half-brother to Keeneland sales graduate and Canadian Derby (G3) winner Explode. Village View Farm, agent, will offer a full brother to Green Flash (G3) winner Mr. Vargas as Hip 4264.
