LATE PICK 5 CARRYOVER OF $50,605 TO FRIDAY’S CARD AT ELLIS PARK

 

HENDERSON, Ky. (Thursday, July 9, 2026) – Horseplayers will have the opportunity to chase a $50,605 Late Pick 5 carryover on Friday at Ellis Park after Thursday’s Early Pick 5 went unsolved.

Friday’s nine-race card gets underway at 11:50 a.m. CT, with the Late Pick 5 beginning in Race 5 at 1:44 p.m.

The carryover occurred after Thursday’s Early Pick 5 went unsolved with a pair of longshot winners in the sequence. Vaporizer returned $20.72 to win in Race 3, followed by Velvet Beretta’s $33.68 upset in Race 4.

The Late Pick 5 has a 50-cent minimum denomination and a low 15% takeout.
