An Interview with Jockey Mike Smith, who will ride the lightly-raced Taiba in the 148th Kentucky Derby. The undefeated Gun Runner colt is a perfect 2-for-2, with a maiden victory and a win in the G1 Santa Anita Derby. Formerly trained by Bob Baffert, this horse is now conditioned by former Baffert assistant Tim Yakteem.
