According to a report in Horseracingnation.com and published on Saturday, the 2021 Kentucky Derby favorite and overwhelming choice of many in this year’s KY Derby Future Wagers, Life Is Good, will miss the next several months.

WinStar Farm President and CEO, Elliott Walden, was quoted as saying:

“Out for few months,” WinStar Farm president and CEO Elliott Walden said in a text to Horse Racing Nation. “Off left hind. Going to see Dr. (Larry) Bramlage this week.”

The colt’s trainer, Bob Baffert, confirmed the story later on Saturday. He was quoted as saying:

“Main thing he will be fine. Timing not good.”
