The first upscale “Fashion Show” of the 2021 season is about ready to hit the runaway flying.

This coming Saturday, on March 13, The Louisville Thoroughbred Society will host the “Brim and Bridle ” fashion extravaganza at Louisville’s newest and finest private membership club in downtown Louisville.

Attendees will be the first to see some of the newest fashions for this year’s Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks season, including hats for both men and women and made special for the Spring’s most talked-about and long-awaited events. Spring-fed colors will be flashed all-around. Professional models — from the Heyman Talent Artists Agency — will be on hand to don the wardrobes and prance the runway to give you both a visual and a performance, all at once.

Here’s a link to the models that will be on hand to work the runway and showcase our best and brightest Oaks and Derby fashions:

There will be ensembles assembled for both the young and mature; for both the men and the women; for both fun and style.

Vendors will have tables full of accessories for you to review and purchase, as well.

If that is not enough glamour to go around?

Rachel McLaughlin — the lovely, gifted and most-talented racing analyst of Indiana Grand & Casino — will be the event’s special guest host and Emcee. She brings her own sense of confident style and fashion to the microphone, along with her knowledge and expertise of the Thoroughbred racing scene. Often, Rachel adds a punch of humor and comic relief to spice  entertainment to any and all events.

It all adds up to fun, fashion, high heels and high drama. And, it adds up to an event that no Derby (or Oaks) goer will want to miss. Make your reservations now. There will be only 80 tickets sold, and, as of Sunday afternoon, only 15 remained available.

Get your order in now. You can order your tickets by going to www.thelouisvillethoroughbredsociety.com and clicking on the link to “Brim and Bridle.”

Doors will open at 11 a.m. and those that hold a ticket will be admitted and immediately be treated to one of the area’s best bars and some of the best adult beverages.

A complimentary Mimosa and Blood Mary bar will allow you to tour the exquisite surroundings and take in all the glamour of the upscale facility. A light lunch will be served at noon and “The Show” will begin promptly at 1 p.m. A complimentary “Champagne Flute” will be yours to take home.

It promises to be a ball.

Literally.
