We busted out on Sunday. And, not in a good way.

Went 0-for-6 in the Stakes races carded at the ole’ “Pea Patch” in Henderson, KY.

Up until Sunday, we have been having a pretty darn good meet. And, the numbers reflect.

So far for the Ellis Park meet — the real one — we have won 57 of 159 races, for a nifty win rate of 35.85%. Our top pick has hit the board 105 times in those 159 races, and that equates to a nice 66.04% spin, too.

Our Key Plays at Ellis Park have been off the mark since Churchill Downs postponed the remainder of its’ summer meet and transferred some dates to Ellis Park. But, overall, we are pretty pleased as we head into the end of summer.

Here’s hoping we strike again the end of this week.
