We had 4 winners out of the 9 races on Sunday, and we cashed 7 tickets on our “straight wagers,” and we collected on 4 “exacta” payoffs.

The key, though, was the payoffs. We had a ticket in the last that returned $70 for each $2 placed across the board and we launched an exacta payoff that returned $214.20 for each $1 played.

We had that longshot in our Pick 5 ticket, too, but unfortunately we lost in the 7th race when we ran third and fourth. Did hit the consolation 4 out of 5 to get half of our “investment” back.

So, it’s onward and upward. Looking forward to Wednesday.
