From interview on TVG:

Trainer Bob Baffert:

“Drayden (Van Dyke, the rider on Charlatan) was just kind of laughing; he didn’t say much; just said he was glad that he didn’t fall off. But the track is getting heavier. It has some moisture in it. He (Charlatan) was blowing pretty good after that one. He got a lot out of it. He’s a big strong horse, but there’s a lot of talent there, too. It was a Bodemeister-move right there.

“I just hope that racing continues. I hope that don’t move that Kentucky Derby, but we all have to do the right thing.”

“Authentic will run here (in the Santa Anita Derby). Nadal will get back on Tuesday. That looked like a hard race on him, too. The thing is that they are all talented. They are fit. This guy (Charlatan) needed that; you could see that. But he’s tough, too. We’ll figure it all out. It’s great for all the owners.”
