From the TCA:
Hour by hour our world is changing, and we must adapt to keep our members, staff, and families safe.
Effective tomorrow, March 14th , the Club will be closed until Thursday, March 19th. During our closure the Club will be taking aggressive cleaning measures to ensure no contamination exists upon our reopening on the 19th. Of course, the current situation is evolving, and we will follow the direction of our public health leaders to ensure the safety of our TCA family and greater community. In the meantime, please excuse us for not hugging you, shaking your hand, or giving a friendly high-five. We may even keep a little distance, but know we look forward to when we can return to our loving selves.
When the Club reopens on Thursday, we will be encouraging social distancing. This means, tables will be placed further apart, and we will be limiting Club capacity to reduce crowding. If you plan to visit the Club after Thursday, March 19th please take the time to make a reservation either online, or by phone. As we limit the capacity of our facility, your reservation will ensure you have a saved location in our building. Please note that all barstool seating has been removed, and we ask that Members remain at their tables as much as possible throughout their visit.
The Thoroughbred Club is currently making plans regarding the upcoming Keeneland meet and we will be in touch regarding these adjustments. For now, the Crawfish Boil has been postponed until further notice. Also, Derby reservations have been delayed until March 23rd.
Thank you for your patience and support of the Thoroughbred Club during this difficult time. We look forward to getting everything back to normal as soon as possible.
