Each day, we scour over the worktables at racetracks all over the country.  We are looking for tidbits of information about horses that are working well, and, perhaps, some that are not.  We relay this information to you to help, we hope, with your handicapping and your watchful eye for horses that may show up soon in a race near you.  Here is a closer look at today’s workers:

  1. Photographer is a 3YO filly who breezed 5Fs on the firm turf at Fair Hill on Sept. 19, going the distance in 1:02.00.  That was the only horse to go the distance. This one is a nice War Front, who just broke her maiden at Saratoga for top-end trainer Tom Proctor. Glen Hill Farm purchased this filly at the Fasig-Tipton Yearling Sale at Saratoga in 2015 for $570,000.  Watch out for this one.  She could be any kind.
  2. Douglas Road is a very nice colt by The Factor who has run two super seconds in a row — the last coming at Kentucky Downs.  In four career starts, he has a win, 2 seconds and a third. He went 4Fs on the Fair Hill’s all-weather training track in :48.80 breezing.  That was second best out of 2 to go that distance. This work was on Thursday, Sept. 21.
