It was hot on Sunday. Very hot. Humid. Sweaty. Horrendously sticky.

Not enough cool water. Not enough steady breeze. Not enough shade to bathe in.

It was a perfect day to travel to the magnificent Fasig-Tipton Sale’s Company in Lexington, KY. and tour the beautiful grounds.

It was an ideal day to look at horses.

On Sunday, our very own Holly M. Smith — with cameras in tow — did just that. She went to Lexington. She went to Fasig-Tipton. And, she looked at horses. Over and over. Through her eyes. And, through the lens on her cameras.

And, here’s just a glimpse of what Holly saw, as Fasig-Tipton will kick off the Summer Sales-a-Fun on Monday, July 8 with the Horses of Racing Age Sale. On Tuesday, the company will host its’ first Selected Yearling Sale.
