Editor’s Note:

It has been a long summer, which really were the “dog days” since all our horses had to leave Churchill Downs after the Spring/Summer meet in June to allow for construction crews to strip and now begin to reseed and sow a new turf track.

But they are coming back.

And, our very own Holly M. Smith was up early this morning to document their journey “home.”
