We are so lucky to have made so many great friends, throughout the years. Dave Baker, a recent inductee to the Kentucky Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame and the master voice of the University of Kentucky Basketball Pregame Show, and Holly M. Smith, who just may be the most versatile and talented human to both ride and photography horses of all kinds, have been with us from the beginning.

From the beginning.

To this very day.

And, I have not only come to rely on them so very much, but I have come to cherish their deep commitment of friendship. I have come to love both of them so very much.

I have come to give “Thanks,” most of all, to each of them.

Without the two of them, I don’t think I could do this. Not each day. Not every day. Not very well.

So, on Thanksgiving Day, I talked to each of them. Again.
