LATE PICK 5 CARRYOVER OF $163,847 TO FRIDAY’S CARD AT TURFWAY PARK

FLORENCE, Ky. (Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025) – Horseplayers will have their first opportunity of the Turfway Park season to chase a Pick 5 carryover on Friday with $163,847 added to the late sequence after no winning tickets were held in Thursday’s early Pick 5.

Friday’s 10-race card will get underway at 5:55 p.m. (all times Eastern) with the late Pick 5 starting at 8:25 p.m. in Race 6. As of scratch time on Thursday, all five races had full fields of 12 horses.

Friday’s late Pick 5 sequence:

  • Race 6 (8:25 p.m.), Clm 25000, 3yo and up, 6 ½ F
  • Race 7 (8:55 p.m.), Alw 101000n1x, 3yo and up, 6 ½ F
  • Race 8 (9:25 p.m.), Clm 15000n2L, 3yo and up, 1 M
  • Race 9 (9:55 p.m.), OC 62500n1x, 2yo, 1 M
  • Race 10 (10:25 p.m.), MC 15000, 3yo and up F&M, 6 ½ F

The Pick 5 carryover occurred when no favorites won in the first five races Thursday evening. Chayton kicked off the card by paying $10.06 while defeating even-money favorite Quarry. In Race 2, Elusive Target was the 6-1 fourth choice and paid $15.88. The tote board blew up in Race 3 when Elle’s Dancer scored a 22-1 upset and paid $46.90. One race later, Dream On Stormy delivered a front-running victory at odds of 36-1 and returned $74.40. The carryover was cemented when 5-2 second choice Oraia won Race 5 and paid $7.28.

The Pick 5 has a 50-cent minimum denomination and a low 15 percent takeout.
