Editor’s Note:
Today we will head back to Horseshoe Indy and bet a “Donation Play of the Day.” Our “Play” on Tuesday was scratched. So no harm, no foul.
Today, we go with Ryan’s Wish (6) in the 2nd race. The 4YO Indiana-bred son of Mshawish goes for trainer Randy Klopp, who is off to a magnificent start to another meet in Shelbyville, IN. In the first 20 starts this meet, Klopp’s horses have 5 wins and 4 more thirds.
He should be able to add to that total here. After all, this one returns from a rest-up since last November and the barn does win with .29% of those that come back to the races as a beaten favorite. That’s with the last 103 horses to qualify for that role.
In addition the rider today, Fernando De La Cruz, is off to a torrid start here, as well. He has won 5 of the first 10 races he has had a mount and has won with .33% of the last 15 for this barn operation.
Look out here.
I bet $15 to win/place.
All the proceeds will go to the Homeless Veterans of Indianapolis at the end of the meet.
