Today’s videos

Riley Mott interview after Wood Memorial winner Albus work an easy half-mile at Churchill Downs.

Trainer Kenny McPeek after Right to Party worked five-eighths of a mile in a good-looking 1:00 4/5 at Churchill Downs. McPeek thought he had a colt good enough to win the Kentucky Derby last fall, through the winter and into early spring with Blackout Time. That didn’t work out, and the 150th Derby winner looked like he might be shut out of the starting gate until Right to Party jumped up and was second in New York’s Wood Memorial.
