That describes jockey Joseph Ramos, who normally wears a set of silks in the afternoon and a brilliant smile all the day long.

He is having a real breakout kind of year and is winning over .20% of his mounts this Spring and Summer at his home base of Horseshoe Indianapolis. And, on Saturday, he will take on the big boys in the jock’s room — like Hall of Famers John Velazquez and Mike Smith — and the big boys on the track — like Publisher, Coal Battle, Instant Replay and others — in the G3 Indiana Derby.
