Editor’s Note:

A few days back, I asked my great friend and ally, Holly M. Smith, if she could sneak out to my favorite racetrack in the entire world and capture some of the grounds sparkling and shinning underneath a blank of God’s own frozen teardrops, disguised as snow.

Holly quickly responded that she would, but it would be a long commute. After all, she was in Florida visiting her family.

But it didn’t take her long to return. And, it didn’t take Holly long to fulfill the request.

She visited Churchill Downs and some other horse grounds today and captured some of the greatest looks that you and I will ever be able to enjoy.
