(Al Stall)

Al Stall is right at home in Louisiana. And, it sure does look like his horses are, too.

After the first week of racing at The Fairgrounds, in the Mardi Gras City, Stall has entered a grand total of 16 horses. To date, 7 of them have won and 5 more have run second. And, that has catapulted the Louisiana-native right to the top of the Trainer’s Standings at the annual Winter/Spring Meet.

Those numbers add up to an amazing win percentage of .44, and an impressive “In The Money” percentage of .75%.  And, the horses have already totaled $235,550 in purses earned.

 

The second leading trainer is another long-time tenant at The Fairground for this time of year — Tom Amoss. So far, Amoss as started 14 horses and has totaled 4 wins, 4 seconds and $110,250 in purses earned.
