This time of year, any person with an inch-deep inkling of loving the Thoroughbred gets a little virus we like to call “Kentucky Derby Fever.” Hits every year about this time. Makes one crazy about getting up earlier than usual. Makes one itch for the chance to get out to famed Churchill Downs. Makes one’s eyes green with envy about owning a horse on the March to May and the Kentucky Derby, or Kentucky Oaks.

The only cure, known to mankind, is a trip to the backside for a little R&R with a Racehorse.

If you can’t do that? The best bet is to get a glimpse of the action through the eyes and lens of our very own Holly M. Smith.
