She Twisted (2) in the 4th Race:

This talented 2YO daughter of Twirling Candy will make her first career start at “The Shoe” today for a trainer who is still looking for his first win here this year after 7 starts. To date, the very talented Larry Rivelli, who has won with .26% of 171 starts this year and is winning with .24% of the last 253 turf starters, has just 3 thirds after 7 starts here this year.

He is due, and so is his filly — who has run three 2nds in a row and comes into this one as a beaten favorite. Rivelli — who recently has had the talented Nobals in his barn — wins with .29% of the last 160 to return to the races as a beaten fan’s choice.

This filly has a ton of speed and has always sped from the gate on top. We are hoping that the 5-furlong distance here will be more to her liking Jareth Loveberry has been named to ride, too. And, he is a top pilot, who has won with .16% of his 428 mounts this year.
