Editor’s Note:

Today’s feature is the 7YO mare Martini Glass, who had a brilliant race career that just finished up back in the Spring of 2018. In 24 career starts, this daughter of Kitalpha won 10 times, with 5 seconds and 3 thirds. Overall, she won nearly $900,000.

In her next to last start, Martini Glass captured the G2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park on March 17, 2018.

In short?

Martini Glass was just marvelous.

Shaken. Stirred. And stunning.

In November of 2018, Martini Glass was sold at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale for $500,000 to Flaxman Stables of Ireland.

Now, she is embarking on her second career. Hopefully, she will be just as successful. We will be watching.

Here’s a look through the eyes and lens of Holly M. Smith
