Each day, leading up to the majestic 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby, we will be posting some photos of some of the best Thoroughbreds in the world, by some of the best Thoroughbred photographers in the world. The subjects are truly amazing individuals, muscles and brawn galore. The backdrop is magnificent, with the Twin Spires and 151 years of history stuffed into a wonderful frame of a racetrack. The photographers are truly artists, using their cameras as their individual brushes — each stroke telling a story of, at least, 1,000 words.
