We are back looking at the daily workout schedule from around the country. Every day (Some days?), we scour the work tabs at racetracks all over the country. We are looking for workouts that may be of interest and helpful to you — as both race fans and handicappers. Some of the horses we will be tracking, you will know. Some of them, you may not know — as of yet.
We are back…Take a look:
- Bell’s the One, a multiple Graded Stakes winning mare by Majesticperfection and trained by Neil Pessin, worked this morning at Churchill Downs. The 6YO gal — who is looking for win #1 of 2022 after a 2nd and a 3rd in 3 starts this year — went a sparkling 4 furlongs in :46.80. That was the bullet move out of 41 to go the distance. Last time out, this one was 3rd to Lady Rocket in the G3 Chicago Stakes. More to come.
- Four Graces, a multiple Graded Stakes winner, as well, and trained by Ian Wilkes, worked at Churchill Downs this morning, too. The 5YO daughter of Majesticperfection, went 5 furlongs in 1:00.40. That was the 2nd best time out of 18 to go the distance. Last time out, this gal was 4th in the G3 Chicago Stakes and behind Bell’s the One. Race before, though, she was 2nd in the G1 Derby City Distaff on KY Derby Day.
- Walkathon, a 3YO daughter of Twirling Candy and trained by Wilkes, as well, worked at Churchill Downs this morn. This gal — who won the G3 Regret Stakes at “The Downs” on June 4 — went 5 furlongs in :59.60. That was the bullet effort at the distance. In 5 starts the year, this one has gone 3-1-0 and has earned $265,660.
