We are back looking at the daily workout schedule from around the country. Every day (Some days?), we scour the work tabs at racetracks all over the country.  We are looking for workouts that may be of interest and helpful to you — as both race fans and handicappers.  Some of the horses we will be tracking, you will know.  Some of them, you may not know — as of yet.

We are back…Take a look:

  1. Midnight Stroll, a 3YO Florida-bred daughter of Not This Time and trained by John Terranova II, worked at Belmont Park this morning. The winner of the Sophomore Fillies Stakes at Tampa Bay last time out went 4 furlongs in :48.90 — which was the 6th best time out of 11 to go the distance at “The Big Sandy” today. Has won 2 in a row now and looks to be on the improve. Take note.
  2. Tax, a 6YO gelded son of Arch and trained by Danny Gargan, has not run since finishing 10th in the G1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes in 2021. But the multiple Graded Stakes winner got his 8th published work since February this morning all the Palm Meadows Training Center in South Florida. He went 4 furlongs in a very nice :47.80 — which was the bullet time out of 9 to go the distance. This is the 2nd sparkling work in a row. May be time to return to the afternoon variety soon.
