Every day, we scour the work tabs at racetracks all over the country.  We are looking for workouts that may be of interest and helpful to you — as both race fans and handicappers.  Some of the horses we will be tracking, you will know.  Some of them, you may not know — as of yet.

  1. Movie Moxy, a 4YO Street Sense filly trained by Eddie Kenneally, worked this morning at the Palm Meadows Training Center in South Florida. This lady has not missed the board in the first six career starts, and has compiled a resume that shows 2 wins, 3 seconds and a third. Has earned over $138,000. But…this may be one to keep an eye on. She just ran 2nd in an allowance at Gulfstream Park on Dec. 24 and was 7 lengths in front of the 3rd place horse. Today was the 4th public work since returning to serious training on Jan. 20. Went 5 furlongs in 1:01.45. That was the bullet move of the day. Look for this one.
  2. Eres Tu, a Graded Stakes-winning daughter of Malibu Moon and trained by Arnaud Delacour, worked 4 furlongs at Tampa Bay Downs this morning. Went the distance in :49.40, which was the bullet move out of 5 to go the distance. This one won the G3 Allaire DuPont Stakes at Laurel Park on Dec. 26. Won the Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes in Maryland the race before. In 2019, this one ran 3rd in the G2 Rachel Alexandra Stakes to eventual KY Oaks winner Serengeti Empress. Came back to run 4th in the Fair Grounds Oaks, behind Street Band. On a roll right now. Watch out.
