CHURCHILL DOWNS PARTNERS WITH TEN20 CRAFT BREWERY

TO RELEASE SPECIALTY BEER ‘CHURCHILL DOWNS LIGHT’

 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Thursday, April 17, 2025) – Churchill Downs Racetrack (“Churchill Downs”) announced today a new partnership with TEN20 Craft Brewery to release Churchill Downs Light, a crisp and refreshing light lager brewed to honor the legacy and lifestyle of enjoying a day at the races.

Crafted with crisp, clean finish and subtle hints of citrus that complement its light body, Churchill Downs Light captures the essence of enjoying a day at the racetrack—bright, easygoing, and celebratory. It’s a beer made for toasting traditions and celebrating winners from the paddock to the party.

Housed in a striking 16 oz. can, the design features beloved Churchill Downs icons—including the legendary Twin Spires and a galloping Thoroughbred silhouette—set against a backdrop of white polka dots, which is a playful nod to the colorful silks worn by jockeys.

Churchill Downs Light will be available beginning Thursday, April 17 at select retailers and on-site at TEN20 taprooms and Churchill Downs during Kentucky Derby Week and beyond.

To celebrate the official launch, fans are invited to the release party at TEN20’s Butchertown taproom (1020 E. Washington St., Louisville, KY 40206) on Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. ET. Guests will enjoy their first taste of Churchill Downs Light, alongside great food on-site, a live ESPN Louisville radio broadcast and a lively atmosphere—a celebration that’s sure to capture the spirit of the season.
