From the Breeders’ Cup Media Team:
Scottish Lassie Scratched from $2 Million Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff
DEL MAR, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2025) – Sportsmen Stable, Parkland Thoroughbreds, Photo Finish LLC, Corms Racing Stable and Jorge Abreu’s Scottish Lassie has been scratched from Saturday’s $2 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) after being a “little off” in her right front foot after training on Wednesday. The 3-year-old filly, who finished fourth in last year’s NetJets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) as the second wagering choice, had been 12-1 on the morning line for the Distaff.
“Yes, she’s scratched. Better safe than sorry, always,” trainer Jorge Abreu said via text.
